Peace and Cooperation celebrate the Human Rights Day.
On December 10, 2020, the Human Rights Day is celebrated, coinciding with the 72nd Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948.
Human Rights are inalienable rights that belong to all human beings, regardless of their race, sex, nationality, language, religion, ethnic origin or any other condition.
This year, the Human Rights Day theme is related to the COVID-19 pandemic and focus on the need to rebuild for the better, ensuring that Human Rights are the foundation for recovery efforts. We will only achieve our common goals around the world if we are able to create equal opportunities for all, address the failures exposed by the pandemic, and apply human rights standards to address entrenched inequalities, exclusion and discrimination, systematic and intergenerational.
